Our tips for you

Karlsruhe is located in Baden. That means: a lot of sun, lots of beautiful nature, wonderful sights and excursion destinations in the nearer and a bit further surroundings.  We have collected some excursion tips - and we have much more in mind. Just ask us.

Baden-Baden

Famous spa town, framed by the Black Forest and Rhine plain, with a casino and the opportunity for a sophisticated stroll through the city, a visit to the Caracalla Spa, the Friedrichsbad, the world-famous Frieder Burda Museum or the Festspielhaus. More about Baden-Baden

Bretten & Maulbronn

Historic city with a beautiful old town and in summer with the popular Peter and Paul Festival. Nearby you can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Monastery Maulbronn. More about Maulbronn

Ettlingen

The gateway to the Black Forest and the Albtal valley, with a lot of atmosphere in the historic old town centre. Stroll along the Alb and enjoy the atmosphere. More about Ettlingen

Heidelberg

Here you can lose your heart... experience the beautiful Heidelberg Castle and the likeable city. More about Heidelberg

Rastatt

Two castles can be visited at once - by the way, both of which were shooting locations for the fairy tale film "Der Froschkönig" (The Frog King). Beautifully green, because more than 50 percent of the area is under landscape or nature conservation protection; quite fascinating with the large automobile production facilities. Typical of one of the warmest and sunniest cities in Germany: the "Gässle", which run across the city. More about Freiburg

Close to France with Alsace
